GSP initiated the activities within the Olympia project by mobilizing C – Master, the DP 3 pipelay vessel

The technical vessel is expected to arrive in Constanta on the 7th of March 2010 and the pipelay operations in the Russian waters will begin around the 25th of March.
C-Master is a multipurpose DP3 pipelayer, installation and accommodation technical vessel. It will afterwards head toward the Russian continental shelf in order to perform the subsea pipelaying operations. The technical vessel has 375 men accommodation capacity.
C-Master is also designed to carry out diving, pile driving, flexible pipelay and subsea installations. The technical vessel previously registered the record for laying pipes with a rate of 4.2 kilometers per day for pipes of 10 inches diameter.
