GSP Offshore announces GSP Saturn will provide offshore drilling services in Pechora Sea, in the south eastern part of the Barents Sea, on the continental shelf of the Russian Federation. GSP Saturn will carry out operations under a two year contract, 2014 – 2015 with extension option for one year. The MODU’s mobilization is scheduled for May 2014.
GSP Saturn will enter service in Dolginskoye oil field where shall perform the drilling, logging, completion and testing of North-Dolginskaya № 3 well. The initial contract between GSP and Gazpromneft-Sakhalin involving GSP Jupiter operations in 2013 being postponed, extended and reassigned to GSP Saturn.
