GSP Bigfoot 1 operates under DLS project, Black Sea

GSP Bigfoot 1 returned in the Russian national waters to carry out the works for the final stage of DLS (Dzhubga – Lazarevskoye – Sochi) project after the completion of the pipeline installation works within the Galata Platform development project, on the Bulgarian continental shelf of the Black Sea.
95% of the underwater pipe-laying operations have been completed in the north east of the Black Sea. The activities included: the installation of 150 kilometers of 20-inch pipeline and of 4.5 km of pipeline with the 6-inch diameter out of the total length of the pipeline (including the onshore sections ) of 177 km.
There are scheduled trenching operations on the pipeline route on a distance of 6.5 kilometers in the Shakhe region and another 2.9 kilometers in Kudapesta region as well as the final test of the subsea pipeline.
Besides GSP Bigfoot 1, GSP Prince, GSP Vega, GSP Phoenix have been mobilized for these operations.
