GSP Prince, the IMR & Survey vessel, prepares to head for Tuapse for Olympia project survey operations

GSP Prince enters under Olympia offshore construction contract. According to the initial offshore activities schedule, GSP Prince will leave Constanta port on the 21st of March, being expected to start operating after the 26th of March. The IMR & Survey vessel will perform subsea survey operations on the Russian continental shelf, preceding the shallow water pipelay barge.
The mobilization of the vessel started on the 1st of March, the new Triton XLR ROV being installed and tested together with the communication interface by the ROV technical crew onboard.
In June the vessel will assist a new ROV, specialized in trenching. The vessel will assist the ROV while performing the trenching operations along the subsea pipe route, 500 km away of the Russian shore. GSP Prince will perform subsea survey activities within the Olympia project until the end of the 3rd quarter of 2010.
