GSP inaugurated the IWCF accredited training centre located in berth 34.
The value of the investment amounts up to 6.5 million dollars. The sum covers the new Training Centre building and the acquisition of DrillSIM 6000 simulator. The training centre is already providing training services for GSP’s own staff, targeting to cover the needs of the regional market for the onshore and offshore drilling companies in the South Eastern Europe.
GSP is committed to offer a high quality training package, meeting the international standards of the offshore industry, by well experienced and fully accredited trainers, sustained by the latest training equipment.
The Training Centre offers well control courses and Cyber Based control of the X – COM drilling equipment as installed onboard GSP Jupiter, using the latest DrillSIM-6000. GSP Training Centre also hosts HSE and Project Management training sessions.
The training modules are completed by theoretical and, where the case, by practical exams and confirmed by internationally recognized certificates.
GSP Training Centre located in berth 34 is the first of a series of training facilities Grup Servicii Petroliere intends to set up, the company already planning the opening of a maritime training facility.
