The jacket fabricated in GSP Shipyard left Agigea Port heading to Akcakoca field
June 29, 2010
The 101 meters long steel jacket fabricated in GSP Shipyard under a TPAO (Turkish Petroleum) contract for the second development phase of the natural gas reserve in Akcakoca field, Western Black Sea, has left the port heading to the installation location. The steel construction was loaded out and sea fastened onboard the semi-submersible barge GSP Bigfoot 2.
The jacket installation will be performed with the support of GSP Neptun, the 1800 tons floating crane, already on the location, and the accommodation, work, and heavy lift (400 tons) barge GSP Bigfoot 3. The barge already completed the first subsea operation by installing the new template.
